Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. – Matthew 25:34
Gracious and loving Father, All-knowing and EverLoving, I come before You in humility and obedience, reflecting on Your Holy Word. Lord, I am overwhelmed by the depth of Your love and the eternal promise You have prepared for those who serve You faithfully. Help me to live each day with the awareness that my actions toward others reflect my devotion to You. May I be counted among those who are welcomed into Your eternal kingdom.
Lord Jesus, You have shown us that true service lies in loving and caring for the least among us. Teach me to see You in the hungry, the stranger, the sick, and the imprisoned. Remove the blinders from my heart that cause me to overlook the needs around me. Give me the courage to serve with joy, not for recognition or reward, but out of a sincere desire to follow Your example of compassion and mercy.
Holy Spirit, I ask for Your guidance and strength as I strive to live a life worthy of the kingdom. Fill me with wisdom to discern opportunities to love and serve others. Remind me that every act of kindness, no matter how small, is a step toward fulfilling Your divine will. Keep me steadfast in faith, ever mindful of the eternal inheritance that awaits those who walk in obedience and love. Amen
